I purchased this set to replace a replacement mixing valve installed prior to owning this home which had failed after a very short time.In the past I have learned to resist "bargains" from contractor grade manufacturers and pursue value in higher grade items.The mixing valve and trim came beautifully packaged and the shipping box was well protected from damage and securely sealed, as soon as you have the Danse package in your hands the value is evident simply by feeling the weight.Once I unpacked the valve and trim and had a chance to closely inspect all components I was certain that this valve was going to last a very long time.
